Open call: linguists, LLM engineers, and annotators wanted
Building AI for African languages requires people who speak, write, and understand those languages deeply. Today we are opening an ongoing call for contributors across three areas.
Who we are looking for
Professional linguists fluent in Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Pidgin, Swahili, Amharic, Zulu, or other African languages, to transcribe, translate, and review speech data. LLM and speech AI engineers interested in fine-tuning Whisper, NLLB, and TTS pipelines for low-resource languages. And data annotators with strong attention to detail.
No prior AI experience is required for linguist and annotator roles, just real fluency and precision. Apply through our Join the Team page, every application is reviewed personally.
